For Donors: Your Gift Multiplies Christian Physicians Across Africa
Africa carries roughly a quarter of the world’s disease burden with only a small fraction of its healthcare workforce. Every residency program CAAP helps launch or strengthen means more Christian physicians serving their own communities for the long term, not a rotation of short-term visitors, but a sustainable, indigenous medical workforce trained in both clinical excellence and Christlike compassion.
Here’s what your giving makes possible:
- Site visits that open doors. Your gift covers travel costs for CAAP’s academic physicians (the majority African academics themselves) to visit hospitals pursuing accreditation, at a stage in a program’s life when this support is often the difference between stalling and moving forward.
- Faculty who can afford to stay. Through CAAP’s MedSend partnership, donor support helps “top off” the salaries of residency faculty and residents, helping retain the very people training the next generation, at a hospital’s most financially stretched moment.
- Hospitals equipped to teach, not just treat. Gifts toward durable medical equipment, physical plant improvements, broadband, library resources, and solar power directly build the infrastructure a residency program needs to function.
- An organization built to scale. CAAP currently runs on volunteers. Additional support allows us to hire administrative staff to network with faculty, maintain curricular resources, and pursue additional foundation grants, multiplying every dollar already given.
Give now to help train the next generation of Christian physicians serving across Africa.
